Frankfurt – Wurzburg – City Tour – Bamberg – City Tour – Nuremberg
Meet & greet by Chinese tour guide at the airport. Firstly, we will visit Wurzburg. It has more than 1300 years of history, it’s also where the famous Franken Wine originated. Tour around the city centre and visit the Würzburg Cathedral, Bavarian Palace, Cobourg etc. Then we will continue our trip to Bamberg, a beautiful town by the river which we rarely can see in Germany. The town preserves the structure of the past decades. Visit the Old Town Hall and Bamberg Cathedral.
Nuremburg – City Tour – Regensburg – Regensburg Cathedral – Munich
After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Nuremburg. Before the World War II, Nuremburg city was full of medieval buildings, so the city keep the most authentic German culture. After the World War II, Nuremburg town was rebuilt and restored to its pre-war appearance including the reconstruction of some of its medieval buildings. Explore more of the popular attractions such as Imperial Castle, Nuremberg Christmas Market. Continue the journey to Regensburg Cathedral, it was listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006. St. Peter’s Basilica is the significant Gothic architecture in Southern Germany, it was rebuilt in year 1273 after heavily destroyed by fire for twice.
Munich – City Tour – Neuschwanstein – Alps resort area
Breakfast at the hotel. Will visit Munich today. Munich is the capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria. The Marienplatz was built in 1158. During the Middle Ages, markets and tournaments were held in this city square. The Glockenspiel in the tower of the new city hall was inspired by these tournaments. Next, continue the tour to Neuschwanstein. The palace was designed by Ludwig II of Bavaria. It is an architecture that was built in late 19th century, it’s said that the palace was used as the blueprint of Disneyland’s castle.
Alps resort area – St.Gallen – Cathedral – Lucerne – City Tour – Shopping Spree
After the breakfast at the hotel, we will visit St. Gallen Cathedral. Begun in 1755, the existing building is one of the last monumental Baroque buildings in Europe. Continue the journey to Lucerne, located within the impressive scenic view on the shore of Lake Lucerne, also serve as a gateway to Central Switzerland. Lucerne has long been a destination for tourists by its prominent amazing scenery, artisan souvenirs and also Swiss watch shops. Visit the famous Lion Monument, Chapel Bridge and Old town area.
Lucerne – Mt.Jungfraujoch – Bern
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and leave for Mt.Jungfraujoch. The summit is as high at 4158 metres and the highest railway station in Europe. The scenic view of Mount Jungfraujoch is the most stunning and alluring scenery in Bern. Take the cogwheel train with over 100 years history up to the railway station at 3454 metres, the highest in Europe. You may enjoy the most distinctive panoramic sights of the Swiss Alps or you can have fun with some outdoor activities.
Bern – Rose Garden – Old City – Clock Tower – Geneva
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will be visiting Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is located at a hill in Bern, the garden is filled with more than 200 species of roses. It’s a great place to unwind in Bern. The Old City of Bern has been listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, there are a large collection of Renaissance fountains, Sandstone facades and historical buildings such as the Bern’s Clock Tower (Zytglogge), built in 1530.
Geneve – City Tour – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the famous Flower Clock. It is the symbol of the city’s watchmakers， situated at the western edge of the Jardin Anglais. Usually, around 6500 flowers and shrubs are used as decoration for this clock. Next, we will be seeing the Broken Chair in front of the Palace of Nations, it symbolises opposition to land mines and cluster bombs, and acts as a reminder to politicians and others visiting Geneva. Then, you will visit Patek Philippe Museum, home to the prestigious creations of the Geneva-based firm of master watchmakers which was founded in 1839. End the tour by sending off to the airport by the tour guide.
